EDWARD DUNNIGAN
Edward has ten years of experience teaching test preparation, ​with past students scoring in the 99th percentile on the SAT, ACT, SSAT, IB, AP, IGCSE, and A-Levels examinations. He holds degrees in Philosophy and English literature from Boston College and the University of Chicago, where he earned his BA and MA, respectively. Edward has authored eight textbooks for test preparation courses operating in Hong Kong and Shanghai and has trained more than 500 SAT and ACT teachers around the world. What separates Edward from competitors is his ability to couch test preparation techniques in authentic modes of learning and to build original course materials that support both teachers and students in all phases of the learning process.

SANDY QI
Sandy graduated from the University of Chicago, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the undergraduate Philosophy journal and earned her Bachelor's degree with honors. Following her undergraduate studies, Sandy worked as a test preparation instructor in Chicago and Shanghai, accruing more than 2,500 hours of teaching experience, the majority of which aimed to help international students in greater China attend top thirty universities in the United States. 100% of Sandy's ACT students have scored above the 95th percentile, including 3 students who scored 35 and one who achieved a perfect 36. In addition, Sandy has helped many students earn 99th percentile scores on the SAT and SAT subject tests.

ASHLEY KUNG
A graduate of HKIS and Columbia University, Ashley has more than three years and 2,000 hours experience teaching international school students in Hong Kong. Ashley understands what it takes to succeed in Hong Kong’s competitive academic environment because she is a former AP Scholar, Honors Student, and 99th percentile SAT scorer. She uses her experience both as a student and a teacher to support students in their preparation for standardized exams, essay writing, and applications to boarding school and university. In addition to teaching, Ashley is an experienced admissions consultant who has helped student earn places at Cornell, NYU Tisch, Carnegie Mellon, and more!

STEPHEN YOUNG
With more than 13,000 hours of classroom experience, Stephen has been helping international students matriculate into top world universities since he moved to Asia in 2010. Stephen has a B.A. in Political Science from Washburn University, with a double minor in History and Philosophy. He also studied abroad at Selwyn College, Cambridge, over the summer of 2007, served as the Pre-Law Association President at Washburn from 2008 - 2010, and interned for the Kansas House of Representatives Assistant Minority Leader for the 2010 legislative session. Stephen has over forty students who have achieved 95th percentile scores and above on the SAT, ACT, SSAT, TOEFL, AP, and IB examinations. His former students now include students and alumni of MIT, Stanford, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Berkeley, and St. Andrew’s.

HARISH KUMAR
Harish has over 3,000 hours of teaching experience helping both international and local students in Hong Kong succeed in their applications to top universities in the US and UK. He is currently earning his Higher Education Teaching Certificate from Harvard University and holds a Bachelor’s degree with honors in Computer Science from CUHK, where he also served as a mentor in the Computer Science Society and Engineering Society. During his undergraduate studies, Harish worked as a Software Engineer before finding his passion for teaching, working thereafter as a teacher supporting students IB, AP, and IGCSE, as well as SAT and SSAT. Many of Harish’s students have earned a full score of 7 in IB Mathematics and IB Physics. In addition, Harish has helped many students excel on the SAT, ACT, SSAT, and AP examinations.

LEWIS FRASER
Lewis has more than four years of teaching experience, including over one year teaching Biology for the IBDP. Having graduated from an IB school before earning his degree from the University of East Anglia (B.Sc. Biochemistry, First Honours), Lewis relies on his experience not only as a teacher, but as a student to understand how best to help students overcome the challenges of IB Biology. Lewis currently is earning his PhD at Hong Kong University and has worked as a research scientist at Northwestern University, the University of Glasgow, and the Burnet Institute in Melbourne. He is happy to share with students his experience working in research laboratories at some of the world’s leading universities.
